HENRY T. BOYD On Tuesday, July 15, 2008 a day before his 83rd birthday at his residence. Beloved
husband of Queen, his loving wife of 52 years and 50 weeks; daughter, Dr. Kim Q. B. Leathers of Apex, NC;
his precious granddaughter, Kimille Queen Leathers; a devoted son-in-law, the Rev. Dr. Terence K.
Leathers; his older sister Maude B. Shelton of Philadelphia, PA; baby sister Dr. Flora B. Maclin of Teaneck,
NJ; his favorite brother, B. Frank Boyd of Hampton, VA; his goddaughter, Patricia Petty Morse, Esq.; one
sister-in-law; one brother-in-law; and a host of nieces, nephews, grand- nieces and nephews, cousins,
dedicated neighbors and friends. Family will receive friends from 9 a.m. until time of funeral service, 10
a.m., Saturday, July 19, 2008 at Metropolitan Baptist Church, 1225 R Street, N.W. Dr. H. Beecher Hicks, Jr.,
Senior Servant. The Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., Chapter Invisible Service will begin at 9:30 a.m.
Interment Ft. Lincoln Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to his beloved
