GLORIA FONTANA KELLER
Of Ocean View, DE formerly of Mitchellville, MD and Alexandria,
VA passed away at Beebe Medical Center in Lewes, DE on Wednesday,
November 30, 2011.
Born in Washington, DC on October 11, 1938, daughter of the late
Umberto and Helen (LeDonne) Fontana. She was a graduate of Eastern
High School Class of 1956.
Beloved wife of 41 years to James Paul Keller; devoted mother to
Christopher N. Keller and spouse, Yanira; loving nana to Jaeden Patrick
Keller; honorary nana to Matthew Fontana Bridges and Adriana Fontana
Bridges; stepmother to J. Paul Keller and spouse, Julie and stepmother to
Peggy J. Keller. Among those left to mourn her are her two brothers,
Emanuele and Humbert Fontana and their spouses, Jean and Terry; and
her sister, Helen Colevas. Also many nieces and nephews, grand nieces
and nephews and special cousins, Ed Fontana and Jean Fontana Bridges.
A celebration of her life will be held at 11 a.m. on Sunday, December
11, 2011 at the Ocean View Chapel of Melson Funeral Services, 38040
Muddy Neck Rd., Ocean View, DE 19970. A visitation will also be held
from 2 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, December 10 at the funeral home.
Interment will be private.
