ESTHER MAY MOORE (Age 90) Died June 17, 2010 in Springfield,
Virginia. She was born Esther May Sinnott in Union Bridge, Maryland,
on December 2, 1919 and married John William Moore, Sr. at age 19 on
Christmas day; he died in 1980.
She graduated from Eastern High School and lived for many years in
Richmond, VA. She moved to Greenspring Village in 2004.
She is survived by son John Moore, Jr., daughters Carol (Tony) Steffy,
and Janice Moore. Grandchildren Michele (Michael) Meiners, John
Steffy, Kathryn Steffy, Sarah Moore; great-grandchildren Joseph Meiners
and Elizabeth Meiners; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, June 22, 2010, Union
Bridge United Methodist Church on Main Street. Interment at Mountain
View Cemetery. Rev. Margaret Moon will officiate.
