ELSIE ELIZABETH MYERLY ANDERSON (Age 88) Of Corona Del Mar, CA, passed away on February 5, 2010. She was born
May 8, 1921 in Baltimore, MD to William Herbert Myerly and Sophia Margaretta Myerly. Elsie graduated from Eastern High
School in Washington, DC in 1937. She worked at a variety of positions at Woodward & Lothrop's, the Washington Post and the
Navy Yard before her marriage to Lt. (USMC) Walter R. Anderson, Jr. in 1942. She later partnered with her husband for 23
years in the ownership and operation of a High's Dairy Store in Edgewater, MD and served as the President of the Annapolis
Chapter of the Soroptimist International service club before retiring to Georgia and then on to Bradenton, FL. She was
predeceased by her husband of 61 years and daughter, Margaret Elizabeth. She is survived by her two sisters, Margaret Myerly
and Lois Breidinger, of Cumberland, MD; her sons, Walter and spouse Denni of Santa Barbara, CA and Charles and spouse
Karen Groome of Corona Del Mar, CA; grand children Caroline Wentzlaff of Gaithersburg, MD, Catherine Schultheis of
Portland, OR, Laura Rossini of Coto De Caza, CA, Kelly Anderson of Anaheim, CA and Raleigh Anderson of Marina Del Rey,
CA; and great grand children Ethan Wentzlaff, Logan Wentzlaff and Colin Rossini. Service and interment will be at noon,
February 10, 2010 at Pacific View Memorial Park and Mortuary, Corona Del Mar, CA.
