| Elizabeth DeGraffenreid Webb, 84, a retired employee of the old Federal Home Loan Bank Board, died Oct. 13 of congestive heart failure at her home in Upper Marlboro. |

| Mrs. Webb worked for the bank board for 19 years, retiring in 1985. She was a native Washingtonian who graduated from Eastern High School in 1938. Her family owned a seven-store chain of White Front Market groceries during the Depression, and she worked for several years at Woodward Lothrop. |

|
| After her retirement, she moved to Front Royal, Va., for 13 years and then to Upper Marlboro. |
|
|
| Her husband of 50 years, Charles E. Webb, died in 1994. |
|
|
| Survivors include her son, Charles E. Webb Jr. of Upper Marlboro; four granddaughters; and three great-grandchildren. |
