2010 of Arlington, VA.
A native Washingtonian. She graduated Valedictorian from Eastern High
School in 1935.
Devoted wife of the late Douglas Durwood Chambers; beloved mother of
Rita C. Butler, Jeanne C. Smith and Douglas B. Chambers. Also
surviving are four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 7 at MURPHY
FUNERAL HOME of ARLINGTON, 4510 Wilson Blvd. and where
services will be held Thursday, April 8 at 10 a.m. Interment National
Memorial Park.
