| Mrs. Cummings worked as an independent loan officer for the last 10 years of her career before retiring in 2000. She was a member of the Maryland Mortgage Banking Association. | ||||||||||
| She was affectionately called Mrs. C and Mama C and was known by family and friends for her tasty spaghetti. She loved to shop and decorate her home, especially for holidays. | ||||||||||

| She was born in Pembroke and came to the Washington area in 1943. She graduated from Eastern High School and then attended Pembroke University, where she played basketball. | ||||||||||
| Survivors include her husband of 47 years, Stacy Cummings Sr. of Pembroke; five children, Deborah Boutelis of Silver Spring, Stacy Cummings Jr. of Virginia Beach, Steven Cummings of Ijamsville, Stewart Cummings of Adamstown and Spencer Cummings of Urbana; her mother, Cammie Lowry of Wheaton; two sisters; three brothers; 14 grandchildren; and a great-grandson. | ||||||||||
