Delores W. DeGeorge


Delores W. DeGeorge, 87, a 17-year resident of Annapolis and
previously of Kettering and District Heights, died on May 27 of natural
causes at the Mandrin Chesapeake Hospice House in Harwood.

Born November 12, 1922 in Harrison County, W.Va., she graduated
from
Eastern High School in Washington, D.C. Mrs. DeGeorge wrote a
book called Remembrances of West Virginia. She was a parishioner of St.
Mary's Catholic Church in Annapolis, was an election judge and assisted
with Bingo at Little Sisters of the Poor.

Delores was a loving mother, she loved animals, writing, playing cards,
reading, and attending her grandchildren and great-grandchildren's events.

She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Frank DeGeorge; her
children, Jim (Peggy) DeGeorge of Columbia, Frank T. (Mary)
DeGeorge of Wilmington, N.C., Gina (Robert) Bergin of Glenwood, and
Steven (Mary Kay) DeGeorge of Crownsville; sister, Jean Sanders of
Kingsland, Texas; 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Friends are invited to Delores' Life Celebration at the George P. Kalas
Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Road, Edgewater, MD on
Monday, May 31 from 6 to 8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be
offered on Tuesday, June 1 at 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart Chapel, 16501
Annapolis Road, Bowie, MD. Interment Resurrection Cemetery.
