

Anna C. (Holzworth) Wilson, 65, of 647
Barlow-Greenmount Road, Gettysburg
went to be with the Lord and her loving
husband on Saturday September 5, 2009.
She passed into God’s eternal care at her
home. She was born March 20, 1944, in
Washington D.C., the daughter of the late
George E Holzworth and surviving mother
Jewel (Logan) Holzworth of Mine Run,
VA. She was the loving wife of the late
Thomas L. Wilson, Gettysburg, for 45 years. Anna was a member of St.
Francis Xavier Catholic Church on High Street in Gettysburg. Anna
retired from the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) Gettysburg
branch in 2007. Upon her retirement, she enjoyed spoiling her eight
grandchildren and spending time in the Outer Banks of N.C.
Anna is survived by her children, Richard G. Wilson and his wife, Judy E.
(Batchelor), Gettysburg, Belinda G. Raville and her husband, Larry J.,
Hanover, and Brian P. Wilson and his wife, Jodi A. (Smith), New Oxford;
two sisters, Judy (Holzworth) Kyle, North Carolina and Crissy
Holzworth, Mine Run, Va.; two brothers, Edward Holzworth and his
wife, Lucy and Frank Holzworth both of Mine Run, Va.; and eight
grandchildren, Scott T. Wilson, Gettysburg, Caitlin A. Wilson,
Gettysburg, Meagan A. Raville, Hanover, Madelyn J. Raville, Hanover,
Abigail N. Wilson, New Oxford, Sarah E. Wilson, New Oxford, Jake T.
Raville, Hanover, and Molly L. Raville, Hanover.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 10, 2009 from 7
until 9 p.m. at the Peters Funeral Home, 321 Carlisle St., Gettysburg.
Family and friends will meet at the funeral home on Friday, September 11
at 9:30 AM to proceed to St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 22 West
High Street, Gettysburg for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM with
Father Bernardo Pistone as celebrant. Burial will take place following the
mass in Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens, 1380 Chambersburg Rd.,
Gettysburg. Serving as pallbearers will be, Richard Wilson; Brian Wilson;
Scott Wilson; Larry Raville; Jake Raville; Donald Smith; Drew Caracciolo
and Kevin Gerlach.
