KEPHART MARYANN KEPHART MaryAnn Griffith Kephart of Poolesville, MD departed this life on May 29, 2009. Beloved wife for 67 years of
George Overton Kephart; loving mother of George O. Kephart, Jr., Elizabeth Perry Kapsch and Ann-Frazer Brown all of Poolesville; devoted
grandmother of Sarah Frazer Prestemon, Simon Alexander Brown, and Amanda Greenberry Brown. She is also survived by her devoted
brother, William B. Griffith; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Born to Elizabeth Perry Griffith and Howard Griffith on January 15,
1921 in Silver Spring, MD, the youngest of eight children, she graduated in 1942 from University of Maryland where she was secretary of the
Student Government Association and a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma. She has lived since 1956 at Chiswell''s Inheritance, Poolesville.
She is a founder of Historic Medley District, Inc., past regent of the Erasmus Perry Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, and
also a member of Colonial Dames of America, St. Peter''s Parish, Washington National Cathedral Altar Guild, and Monocacy Garden Club.
Friends may call at Hilton Funeral Home, 22111 Beallsville Road, Barnesville, MD on Sunday, May 31, 2009 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m.
Commemorative photographs to be scanned would be welcome. A service of Christian Burial will be held at St. Peter''s Parish, 20100 Whites
Ferry Rd, Poolesville, MD on Monday, June 1, 2009 at 11 a.m., with interment to follow at Monocacy Cemetery, 19801 West Hunter Road,
