KATHLEEN FANNING FARNSWORTH  

     Died Friday, September 16, 2011. Born September 9, 1920 to Thomas J.
and Annie Garry Fanning in Washington, DC. A 1938 graduate of
Central
High School
in Washington, DC, she worked at the Civil Aeronautics
Administration prior to her marriage in 1945 to the late Herbert Graham
Farnsworth.

     She is survived by her sisters, Eileen Fanning Aukward, Teresa Fanning
Jackson and Rosalie Fanning Gresh and her husband, John Gresh, all of
Maryland; her sister-in-law, Diana Buck Farnsworth of California; her
brother-in-law, William Bowser; many loving nieces and nephews through the
Fanning and Farnsworth families. Her brothers, Thomas E. Fanning, John G.
Fanning and Raymond L. Fanning, and sisters Mary Fanning Woodward and
Annie Fanning West preceded her in death.

     She was preceded in death by her daughter, Florence Louise Farnsworth
of Boston, MA; and is survived by children, Anne Garry Farnsworth of
Athens, GA, Richard Graham Farnsworth (wife, Anne Magruder Farnsworth)
and Brian Thomas Farnsworth of Atlanta, GA and David Anthony Farnsworth
of Shreveport, LA; grandchildren, Daniel Forrest Farnsworth (wife, Jenna
Dolde), Claire Elizabeth Farnsworth, Sarah Katherine Farnsworth and Patrick
Graham Farnsworth; and great-grandson, Conor Graham Farnsworth.

     Details will be announced later of a memorial service in the Washington
area in late October.
