Jean Allwine MacNemar
Jean Allwine MacNemar, 77, a member of St. Stephen's Episcopal Church in Crownsville and Indian Landing Boat Club in Millersville, died April 1, 2005 at North Arundel Hospital in Glen Burnie of complications from a stroke in December.
Mrs. MacNemar was a native Washingtonian and a 1945 graduate of the old Central HighSchool. She attended George Washington University and the University of Maryland.
She married in 1949 and accompanied her husband on his military assignments until settling in the Washington area in 1967. She was a Glen Burnie resident.
She did volunteer work for the American Red Cross.
Survivors include her husband, retired Army Capt. Dunbar D. MacNemar of Glen Burnie; three children, Louis H. MacNemar, Barbara MacNemar and Margaret MacNemar-Radford, all of Millersville; and two granddaughters.
