Jean Allwine MacNemar, 77, a member of St. Stephen's Episcopal Church in
Crownsville and Indian Landing Boat Club in Millersville, died April 1, 2005 at
North Arundel Hospital in Glen Burnie of complications from a stroke in
December.
Mrs. MacNemar was a native Washingtonian and a 1945 graduate of the old
Central HighSchool. She attended George Washington University & the
University of Maryland.
She married in 1949 and accompanied her husband on his military
assignments until settling in the Washington area in 1967.
She was a Glen Burnie resident.
She did volunteer work for the American Red Cross.
Survivors include her husband, retired Army Capt. Dunbar D. MacNemar of
Glen Burnie; three children, Louis H. MacNemar, Barbara MacNemar and
Margaret MacNemar-Radford, all of Millersville; and two granddaughters.
