

JANE POOLE FANNING
Jane Poole Fanning, 93, died on May 24 at McGregor Nursing Home in
Cleveland, Ohio.
Born in Los Angeles, she lived in the Washington area most of her life
before moving to Cleveland three years ago. A graduate of Central High
School and Strayers Business College, most of her career was as a legal
secretary and office manager in Washington. She was a Certified Professional
Secretary and Certified Administrative Manager and an active member in their
associations. She was also an active member of the John Poole Association
and helped write the genealogy of the family which dates back to the early
days of the country.
Surviving are daughters Joan Hulburt of Cleveland; Jean Busch of Reston,
VA; stepson Michael Fanning of Salisbury, MD; grandchildren Stephen
Hulburt, James Busch, Helane Woodworth and Jennifer Daniels; eleven
great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Services at LakeView
Cemetery, Lyndhurst, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to
