George Hubert DeZerne

George Hubert DeZerne, 86, an accountant for the Pentagon and other federal agencies, died after a heart attack May 11 at his home in Jessup.
Mr. DeZerne worked as an accountant and an administrator at the Department of the Treasury and the General Services Administration before retiring in 1996 from the Pentagon.
He was born in Denver and moved to Washington as a youth, graduating from Central High School. He served with the Army Air Forces during World War II and after the war worked for the government.
Survivors include his wife, Pauline DeZerne of Jessup; and a brother.
