MATILDA MARC GROSS "Bunny"  

     Matilda Marc Gross (Bunny) passed away at her home in
Washington, DC, on May 30, 2011.

     Matilda was the daughter of the late Louis S. Gross and Irene R.
Cohen. She was a graduate of
Calvin Coolidge High School and
American University in Washington, D.C.

     A quiet and introspective individual, Matilda enjoyed computer work,
the classical quitar and martial arts. In the late 1970s and early '80s she
had been a student of Kung-Fu and Tai-Chi under the guidance of Grand
Master Wang Jyue-Jeh, and in 1983 traveled with her class to Taiwan to
take part in a special demonstration of skills.

     During the past few years she continued her training at home as a
daily exercise routine. Matilda always gave freely of her time and many
talents to assist members of her family, close friends, and her local
Washington community.

     A memorial service will be held on Sunday, June 26, at 10 a.m. at
Temple Emanuel Synagogue, 10101 Connecticut Avenue, Kensington,
MD.

     In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to the
Volunteer Department of the Hebrew Home of Greater Washington,
6121 Montrose Road, Rockville, MD 20852.
