

LEONARD J. FARELLO "COACH"
Leonard J. Farello (Coach Farello), 66, of Silver
Spring, MD went to be with the Lord on March 25,
2011 after a courageous battle against lung cancer.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Toni
Farello; sons, Leonard A. (Carmen) of Albuquerque, NM and Anthony
J.; daughters, Gabrielle R. and Theresa D.; grandchildren, Vincent, Justin,
Annona, Angelina, Eleina, Danielle, and Aphina; and many family and
friends. Coach Farello was a retired P.E. Teacher and Baseball,
Basketball, and Football Coach at Calvin Coolidge High in Washington,
D.C. for 32 years. Coach Farello earned many awards and titles during
his coaching career and impacted many students' lives.
For 25 years, Lenny spent his weekend nights behind the raw bar at
Crisfield's Restaurant. Friends may visit Hines-Rinaldi Funeral Home,
11800 New Hampshire Avenue, Silver Spring, MD, on Friday April 1,
2011, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be
celebrated on Saturday April 2, 2011 at St. Michael's Catholic Church,
