James T. Kitsoulis of Washington, D.C., died on February 26, 2010 at the
Washington Home battling Parkinson''s disease.

James, who retired in 1989 after more than 35 years of service with the
US Postal Service, is survived by his wife Demetra, a brother Michael of
Rockville, MD; a son Thomas of Fairfax,VA; a daughter Susan of
Washington, DC. A sister, Marie Moutos,of San Angelo, TX died in 1987.
 
He was born February 27, 1928 of Thomas Kitsoulis and Tula Constantine.

The 1947 graduate of
Calvin Coolidge High School in Washington,
married his wife of 60 years, Demetra Moutsos, on May 22, 1949.

Active in the Masons, he served as master of Brightwood Lodge 43. He
also was a president of the Order of AHEPA, Annapolis Chapter 286.

Upon retirement, he and Demetra moved from Crofton, MD, back into
Washington DC in 1995 to the Albemarle House, and most recently the
Chevy Chase House.

Relatives and friends are invited to call at JOSEPH GAWLER''S SONS,
INC. 5130 Wisconsin Ave, NW, Washington DC on February 28, 2010
from 2 to 5 p.m. A funeral service will be held at St. Sophia''s Cathedral,
3601 Massachusetts Ave, NW, Washington, DC, on Monday, March 1,
2010 at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. In
lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in his name to the
National Parkinson''s Foundation, Office of Development, 1501 NW 9th
Ave./Bob Hope Rd., Miami, Fl. 33136-1494.
