Faith Seay

Faith Seay, 84, who did volunteer work for a range of organizations, including the American Red Cross and Martha's Table, a program to help
underprivileged children, died Nov. 14 at her home in Washington. She had cancer.
Mrs. Seay volunteered at the Episcopal Center for Children, which helps emotionally troubled children and their families. She was a member of the Church
of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and volunteered at the Kensington temple.
Faith Church was a fifth-generation Washingtonian and a 1943 graduate of Coolidge High School. After she graduated from Strayer's Business College,
she did administrative work for the Atomic Energy Commission in the late 1940s and early 1950s.
Her husband, Temple W. Seay Jr., whom she married in 1948, died in 2001.
Survivors include two sons, Michael Seay of Washington and Thomas Seay of Bethesda; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
