    Charles "Charlie" Robert Earisman, 79, a 24-year resident of
Annapolis, and previously of Lanham, died on March 2, 2011 in
Harwood, of cancer after a two month illness.

    Born September 23, 1931 in Harrisburg, Pa. to the late Edgar and
Dorothy Earisman, he graduated from
Coolidge High School in
Washington, DC in 1950. While in high school, Charlie was employed at
the Washington Post. After graduation, Charles worked at Darby Printing
Company, then the Government Printing Office as a printing specialist,
retiring on June 30, 1992.

    Charlie was a Corporal in the United States Marine Corps from
1952-54. He enjoyed sports, working out, jogging and coin collecting.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a sister, Nancy
Schweitzer.

    He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Earisman, whom he married in
1954; a son, Michael Earisman of Chester; two daughters, Jayne Gorski
of Moorpark, Calif. and Jill Hayden of Bowie; a grandson, Justen Gorski
of Moorpark, Calif. and many nieces and nephews.

    Friends are invited to Charlie's Life Celebration at the George P.
Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Road, Edgewater, MD on
Friday, March 11, 2011 from 10am until service begins at 12pm.

    Interment Maryland Veterans Cemetery, Crownsville.

    In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Charles' name to
Hospice of the Chesapeake, c/o Mandrin Chesapeake Hospice House,
