| Anne Barbara Feitel, 71, a reading specialist in Montgomery County schools for more than 12 years, died Jan. 15 of lymphoma at her home in Naples, Fla. She also lived in Rockville. |

| Mrs. Feitel was born in Chicago and moved to Washington as a child. She graduated from Calvin Coolidge High School in the District, attended Ohio State University and graduated from the University of Maryland. She worked as an elementary school teacher in Ann Arbor, Mich., before joining Montgomery County schools as a primary school reading specialist. She retired in the mid-1980s. |

| She was a member of Washington Hebrew Congregation. |

| Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Dr. Morris Feitel of Rockville and Naples; three children, Charles Feitel of Potomac, David Feitel of Rockville and Robert Feitel of Chevy Chase; a sister, Amanda Modlin of North Bethesda; and seven grandchildren. |
