Dr. SIDNEY LEVIN On Saturday, June 20, 2009, Dr. Sidney Levin of Washington, DC and
Jacksonville, FL. Preceded in death by his brothers and sisters, Hymie, George, Louis,
Isadore, Frieda, Rose, and Dora; his son, Jacob. Survived by his sisters, Leah (Fred)
McNair, and Zelda Gallun. Also survived by his daughter, Ann Pittard and granddaughters,
Hallie and Shaina Garrison. He also leaves behind many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, June 23, 1 p.m. at B''nai Israel Congregation
Cemetery, Oxon Hill, MD. The family will be receiving friends immediately following the
interment at the residence of Harriet L. Katz. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may
be made to The University of Florida and Shands Hospital, Jacksonville, Attention Pediatric
