Class of 1953
Dear Classmates,

A very special thanks to all our classmates who sent in early payments. You've made it possible for us to move ahead
with the reunion plans. The hotel contract is ready to be signed, and the following arrangements have been finalized:


DATE: Saturday, August 25, 2012
PLACE: Pook’s Hill Marriott, Bethesda, MD  <<CLICK HERE
TIME:: 7:00 pm - Midnight
COST: $90.00 per person (covers the cost of dinner, informal reception, tax, bartender & servers)

A block of rooms is being reserved at a special room rate of $89.00 per night. Room reservations can be made after
September 1, 2011. The hotel offers free bus service to area malls, Bethesda and Metro. The hotel features an indoor
and outdoor pool, hospitality room and a spacious, recently renovated bar, for Friday night meeting and greeting. We
look forward to seeing you Friday evening, Saturday at the dinner, and at brunch on Sunday morning ($20.00 extra).

We are giving everybody plenty of time to save for this once-in-a-lifetime event, and we hope it will enable you to join
us. If you could send in your payment early it would be very helpful to us in our efforts to defray the high cost of
mailings, deposits, etc. The committee has already donated funds to start the reunion ball rolling, but more cash is
needed to keep it going. In fact, four committee members have forgone lunch this week but can’t do it next week ‘cause
they’re very hungry. Checks should be made out to CCHS53, and mailed to Ceil Engel, 15100 Interlachen Drive, Apt.
601, Silver Spring, MD 20906. In the event of an emergency, your payment is refundable up to July 25, 2012.

Reminder–please let one of us know if you change your email address or move from your current home. We don’t want
to lose you!! And please send us your email address if you have one.

We are all very excited about the overwhelmingly positive response we’ve received so far, and are sure this reunion will
be as great, if not greater, than the others. If you know of any friends of our class who would like to attend this
reunion, feel free to give them the details.

Dear Classmate,

As Joan Rivers would say, "Can We Talk". This is the last round-up. We are not interested in Roy Rogers, Tom Mix, The Lone Ranger or
Tonto. We are very interested in YOU!! Your reunion committee is doing its very best to get everyone together for one last, wonderful week-
end of nostalgia and camaraderie.

There is a tremendous amount of enthusiasm that has been generated by the "troops". There will be no detention hall and no food fights.      
Only good friends with great stories, in a wonderful atmosphere of love and caring. Couldn’t we all use some of that.

There are a lot of people who would love to see you. Don’t disappoint them and us. A lot of work has gone int insuring that will have a super
time. Reserve the time; send in your money in now and be prepared for a very special weekend with some very special friends.
