This Site is dedicated to all who lived
in Washington DC during the 50's, when
I thought, now as I look back, was a
magical time. One could walk the streets
at night and not have to fear for your
life. A time when you could leave the
doors to your house unlocked and not
having to worry about intruders. (I never
had a door key).
    One could ride the Trolley throughout
the city and not have your family worry
about your return.
   Yes, it was a great time, and the schools
listed here is where most of us
graduated/attended.
   Below is what was known then as "The
Avenue" 7th & Pennsylvania Avenue
SE, now known as Capitol Hill, WOW!!
Imagine that.
